Oro Valley E-Flyers is a group of friends...ok, radio control airplane junkies, who get together to fly RC aircraft ...strictly electric powered.

We fly at three different fields.  Our primary site is at the Sonoran Desert Flyers Field at 660 W. Naranja, at the undeveloped Oro Valley Town Site.  See map HERE.

We also fly at the Dove Mountain E-Flyers Field at the NW corner of Tangerine Rd. and Dove Mountain Blvd.  See HERE.

We occasionally fly at the grass field provided to us by the Casas Baptist Church off Cross Road (north of Lambert Dr.)  See HERE.

The Price to Play. The performance of e-flight has risen dramatically over the last few years. And so has the cost. We are now to the point where we are stuffing $500 worth of electronics into a $50 hunk of foam. And for that we are getting 100 to 200 watts per pound, and more, power figure. You don't need to be rich to enjoy this sport, but...

If you are interested in joining us for a day of flying we welcome you.  We fly 3-D, sport, scale, home-brew, gliders, helicopters and anything else that's flyable, and some things that are questionable.  We have qualified instructors on hand ready to assist new flyers and we can give lots of advice, completely free of charge.
Welcome

If you are tired of ARFs and ARCs and RTF's, and want to build a quality model the old-fashioned way, D&L offers a number of wood packs and plans kits that will fullfill this need. But if you still want ARFs, we can help you out there too. Some of our models are sold as complete kits, while others are available as ARF's (almost-ready-to-fly), or ARC's (all-ready-to-cover), or as laser cut wood packs only. Plans are available for most models. Accessories are available for all models including landing gear, wheel pants, cowls, motor offset thrust strips and rings, canopies, fueling systems, and spinners.
