Benedicte Rafford June 1898 - 1984
	HORNELL -- Benedicte Rafford June, 86, of Hornell died Saturday (Feb 25, 1984) at Ira Davenport Hospital in Bath after a short illness. A native of France, she moved to Canisteo in the early 1900's and had lived for most of her life in Hornell. She and her late husband, Glenn June, were partners in the operation of the former June's Ice Cream Co. for many years. For the past year, she had been a resident of the Maryville Home for Adults near Howard.
	Survivors include a son, John G. June of Hornell, a brother A. J. Rafford of the Fremont Road; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one niece and two nephews. There will be no calling hours prior to a private service at the Lynch Funeral Home in Hornell. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to the Hornell Public Library or to the Hornell Humane Society.
